Veyon 4.8.3 released

We’re happy to announce Veyon 4.8.3, the third maintenance release of Veyon 4.8.x. This release fixes various bugs and adds major features to the commercial NetworkDiscovery add-on. Starting with Veyon 4.8.3 packages for Fedora 39 and Ubuntu 23.10 are provided for download.

  • Core:
    • Optimized code paths wherever regular expressions are parsed
    • Fixed logging of internal enum values in debug messages

    • Fix locations being hidden when hiding local computer per configuration and using the NetworkDiscovery add-on
